The preparation time required is around 7 minutes, and the cooking time needed is around 15 minutes. The number of ingredients mentioned below will help in serving two people. 


Pasta Recipe
  • ¾ cup penne or any pasta of your choice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4-5 cups of water

For Veggies

  • ½ teaspoon oil
  • ¼ cup chopped carrot
  • ¼ cup chopped green capsicum
  • ¼ cup chopped red capsicum
  • ¼ cup chopped broccoli
  • Salt to taste

For White Sauce

  • 1 ½ tablespoons butter
  • One teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1 ½ tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano or pizza seasonings
  • A pinch of crushed black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Steps About How To Make Pasta

  • Take the raw pasta and boil it as per the instructions given on the packaging or follow the given instructions – Take 5-6 cups of water in a deep saucepan, bring it to boil, add ½ teaspoon salt and the ¾ cup pasta. 
  • Boil the pasta properly until it gets cooked. This boil will take around 10-12 minutes. To check if it’s cooked or not, take one pasta piece in a fork and bite it. If it’s hard to bite, then it requires more cooking. 
  • Transfer the already cooked pasta to a good-sized strainer and drain all the excessively hot water, followed by rinsing the pasta in cold water. 
  • While you kept the pasta for cooking, take a saucepan, add ½ teaspoon oil, followed by carrot, green capsicum, red capsicum, salt, and chopped broccoli. 
  • Stir and cook the veggies properly for the next 5 minutes until they get crunchy. Turn the flame off and transfer the veggies to a plate. 
  • Heat 1 ½ tablespoons of butter in the same pan, followed by adding finely chopped ginger and sauteing it for the next 30 seconds. 
  • Add 1 ½ tablespoon of all-purpose flour. Stir it properly and allow it to cook for the next one minute. 
  • Pour milk little by a little while stirring the mixture. 
  • Stir the mixture and let it come to a boil, and mix it for 1-2 minutes. 
  • Reduce the flame to low and continue stirring as soon as the sauce starts getting thick. It will take around 4 minutes of your time. 
  • Add some oregano and pizza seasoning as per your taste, along with black pepper powder and salt. 
  • Mix the sauce well and add the cooked pasta and veggies. 
  • Turn the flame off, mix the pasta well again. 
  • Transfer the pasta to a serving plate as your white sauce pasta is now ready. Garnish the pasta with some grated cheese and serve the pasta properly while it is still hot.
